Iizaka Onsen - 2,000 Year Old Hot Spring Town in Fukushima Japan

You might enjoy my latest video (that I filmed in 2020 right before Japan shut down, but have been waiting for the “right time” to upload), a travel guide for visiting Iizaka Onsen. Just 20 minutes from Fukushima station, this traditional hot spring town features a variety of eateries and nostalgic shops. Iizaka is home to over 40 traditional ryokans (Japanese-style inns), and 9 public baths, and 3 foot-baths. The temperature of the hot springs is slightly higher than normal, at around 42°C (107.6°F).
